Leather Steering Wheel Restoration Kit Black
Kit is equipped with high quality products and all necessary accessories dedicated to steering wheel restoration and any other leather item like car seats or gearshift knobs. The kit is ready to use.
- Leather Preparer - agent intended for removing old colourant and finishes on natural leather. Prepares the leather surface for colouring.
- Leather Alcohol Cleaner - product intended for degreasing leather before colouring. Prepares the leather surface for colouring. Removes all olis and waxes of leather surface.
- Leather Colourant Black - Leather Colourant was created on the basis of watery substances with excellent covering properties. It is dedicated for restoration or change the colour of any leather item. After using Leather Colourant the leather has a soft and delicate touch.
- Leather Top Coat - leather colourless polyurethane finish. Perfectly preserves the colorant increases resistance to difficult weather conditions.
How to use?
- Use the Leather Preparer and the towel included in the kit or any cotton cloth to partially remove the old paint. It will increase adhesion to the new coating.
- Use a Leather Alcohol Cleaner to degrease the leather surface and remove any residues of dissolved paint.
- Apply the first layer of Leather Colorant with a sponge in a circular motion. The subsequent layers should be applied with a sponge or a spray gun. Each layer should be completely dry. Apply 3-4 thin layers.
- Seal the coating with Leather Top Coat. Apply 3-4 thin layers with a sponge or a spray gun. Each layer should be completely dry.
Tips:
Use Leather Filler for fix damages in leather. In case of heavy cracking use sponge abrasive pad to smooth out the leather surface. For 7 days after repair, do not clean or maintain the leather.
