HYDRO HD is a Si02-based protective coating with durability for up to 12 months. It has very strong hydrophobic properties and thanks to its very quick & easy application are often used instead of waxes. Protects the paint, plastics and even car screen. It can be used as an independent coating or as a top coating for Premium Bond 9H or One and gives them a very slippery touch and improves the hydrophobic effect. The dust does not stick to the paint thanks to the antistatic properties of Hydro HD, but it’s not only about being useful. The coating gives the car a wonderful gloss which will stand out your car from the crowd!
The color of the product is not transparent and the turbidity of Hydro HD is its natural property.

Tips
- You should never apply the coating outdoors and in direct sunlight.
- The perfect application conditions are temperatures in the range of 18-22°C and a humidity of 50-70%.
- Always use a new microfibre cloth. You should have sufficient supply of these to frequently change them during the application.
- Apply in small areas. We advise splitting the panels into 40 cm x 40 cm sections to ensure safe & easy application.
- If the temperature is higher than 25°C apply on smaller sections – 30 cm x 30 cm.
- Apply in correct lighting.
- Apply the second layer just after first to improve the coating performance.
- Leave the coating for at least 30 minutes to cure.
Preparation
- The surface should be completely clean and decontaminated.
- Old coatings, waxes and other glazes must be removed before the application.
- The surface should be machine polished if there are any scratches, swirl marks or holograms.
- The surface must be properly degreased by Ultracoat Wipe It! or IPA. We advise a second degrease to ensure the surface is perfectly prepared for the application process.
- If you are applying Hydro HD as a top coating do not degrease the surface on the recently applied hard coating.
Application
- Prepare the coating, application pads and few microfibre cloths.
- Wet the edge of the application pad with the product.
- Apply on the surface using the cross-patch method on 40 cm x 40 cm sections.
- Buff the surface with soft microfibre cloth immediately. Add additional layer repeating the process.
Safety & Storage
- Gloves required – avoid skin/eye contact
- Ventilated area only – avoid hot surfaces & direct sun
- Store at 5°C to 25°C – keep away from children/UV
